[He's still shaking a little, he wasn't prepared at all. His hair has not de-poofed yet.]

Oh, but that's―! Ha ha ha! … Th-That's where you're only technically right, my dear Leo! [ Lily sighs and wipes away a tear. ] Because it wasn't merely "funny..." It was hi... hi...

[ Yep. Can't even get out the word "hilarious" before she pitches over in a fit all over again. ]

H-hmph!

C-can't even appreciate, an excellent g-gift.

[He's adjusting the giant bow around his neck.]

Huh?

[ Lily's laughter dies down once more as she lifts her head, then shifts into a sitting position. She tilts her head, confused. ]

What, do you mean that... wasn't my gift? I was just about to thank you for it and everything.

I was the gift!

[ Lily has that "I'm about to break out into laughter again, but you look so serious that I'm trying not to" look on her face. ]

I... [ ahem ] I s... see. I'd... [ hum! ] gotten the wrong idea, it seems.

I am unsure why you would think I set up the perfect opportunity to be tormented.

[He opens his mouth.

[ Lily grins as Leo concedes and therefore proves that, once again, Lily is always right. The smile shifts into a smirk, though, as she gets to her knees and makes her way to the box not entirely unlike a child might on Christmas morning. ]

Though... [ She places her finger on the bow around his neck. ] I take it to mean you meant to give... yourself... to me?

That.. was the intent, yes...

[Maybe he should have thought this out better.]

[ Now she starts peering into the box, looking all around Leo, inspecting her real present. ]

Really? Because I'm seeing a definite lack of shibari here.

...Christmas Ribbon shibari?!

Why not? They make peppermint-flavored condoms, don't they?

[There's a faint jingling.

..He put a bell on his tail, too.]

Yes. They put them out as soon as pumpkin spice goes out of season.

[ She mumbles about half of that sentence as she realizes she had apparently missed something on her first pass. ]

[ Lily makes a face like aw. ]

I suppose t'would impede progress.

You'd use it for foul purposes anyway.

I can just see you doing things to me, then taking the jingling of the bell as approval..

My. Do you really consider my curiosity to be "foul?"

I distinctly believe you would do such things I denied enjoying, just to listen for the bell.
